Tracy Richards specializes in family and couples therapy in the Hershey/Harrisburg area of Pennsylvania.
With over 25 years experience as a family therapist, and as a graduate of Catholic University School of Social Work she currently is serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among her areas of expertise are working with couples and families with children and adolescents and individuals who are depressed anxious and struggling with problems in their relationships at home or at work.
Tracy Richards is systems therapist whose work is also influenced through concepts from attachment . Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address problems that they are trying to solve in addition to helping them reach new levels of awareness and break long entrenched patterns of reaction with loved ones. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. Ms. Richards is a Certified Emotionally Focused Therapist and has expertise in and training in treating couples and families in the empirically based model of Emotionally Focused Therapy. Ms. Richards is licensed the State of Pennsylvania as a Clinical Social Worker and as a Marriage and Family Therapist.
